Geoff Cowie Wrote in December 1994, as part of his 'Complete UK Anime Guide' (UK-PAL). Featuring over 120 Video reviews.   "Most UK releases are dubbed into english.   A minority are subtitled, and even fewer are available in both formats."   "British videotapes are among the cheapest in the World.   Few full-length Anime tapes cost more than £12.99 (R.R.P.)."    "Some distributors price according to length, with many tapes under 50 Mins costing less than £10, and half hour tapes costing from £5.99."

Kiseki Films (it means 'Miracle Films') is part of the Revelation group of
companies, a major video distributor. They released various anime on the
back of the interest generated by Manga Video. They are not currently
producing any new releases, but they are keeping their most popular
releases in print, and have re-released some titles on DVD.
Notable releases : Gunbuster, Urotsukidoji III, Urotsukidoji IV.

About Us
Tony Carne and Trevor Drane are the principles of production and rights owning business Revelation Films.

Revelation is a BAFTA nominated production company with a proven track record in creating quality original programming. Launched in the early 90s, Revelation introduced the nation to Paul O’Grady [the LATE Paul O’Grady R.I.P.] with Lily Savage Live: Paying The Rent, catapulting O’Grady’s career from gigging stand-up to primetime national treasure, and the company has gone on to produce high quality documentaries which deliver both exclusive authenticity and detail.

Tony Carne
Tony Carne founded Revelation Films in 1992 as a video and television production and rights owning business following a successful career at CBS/Fox, Harper Collins and Simitar Entertainment. Under his guidance, Revelation became one of the leading independents and worked with such notable partners as Channel 4, BBC, The Terrence Higgins Trust and discovering Lily Savage. Tony acts as executive producer and has covered director duties on The Real Manhunter Series 2 as Covid impacted the crew.

Trevor Drane
Trevor Drane joined Tony at Revelation in 1996 having previously been an executive board member at major UK independent film company First Independent Films. Trevor’s notable successes are many and varied, from the early Film 4 work of Neil Jordan, Mike Leigh and Ken Loach to a lifetime achievement for Dirty Dancing. He guided the relaunch of the Hanna Barbera TV library during his time leading that company’s home entertainment output jointly commissioning the first new Flintstone animated works in twenty years with movie length episodes Viva Rock Vegas, and I Yabba Dabba Do. He acts as executive producer, writer and d

Kiseki Films Anime Distribution Releases
In the world of 90's anime in Australia, there were two distribution companies which I recall the most on the video shelves. The first was the classic company Manga Entertainment... and the second was its b-grade counterpart Kiseki.
When I started to research into Kiseki, I was surprised to find that there wasn't much documented on the net. Apparently they had a web-store front called Video Store Cult, but when I searched the site I discovered it was now a website for a Japanese removalist company. As far as I can gather, Kiseki disappeared off the face of the Earth around 2001, after just beginning to release DVD's. Wikipedia claims that Kiseki was bought by UK company, Revelation Films.

Rumors have it that the company was run by one guy in Western Australia, and that most films released were unlicensed, which affected some anime titles being delayed or denied release into Australia. One writer stated that after the credits of an anime he was watching on VHS, it cut to an Aussie rules football game to reveal that the film was overdubbed on a second-hand tape.
When I dug deeper it got confusing, as some forum comments refer to Keseki distributing anime from within Australia and eventually overseas to the UK, and other forum comments hinted that there were two different Kiseki's, one good Keseki in the UK, and one bad Kiseki in Australia.
Despite all this, Kiseki's VHS tapes were always lurking on the video store shelves in-between the Manga Entertainment releases, and for nostalgic reasons, I feel this list is warranted.
If anyone knows of anymore titles to add, please comment below.

Kiseki did release some anime TV series along with films and OVAs, including the very popular Dragon Ball Z.
